[bigletter custom_class=””]Cellucor’s hugely popular C4 Sport® pre-workout product is on the review board today. I found it on Amazon. There are a ton of reviews and a company claim to be America’s #1 pre-workout brand. Let’s have a look.[/bigletter]
At $20.00 for 30 servings, C4 Sport® is definitely affordable at $0.67 per serving. And as always, if you add an Amazon subscription, you can save up to 15%.
I tried the Fruit Punch flavor. After using Naked Nutrition’s unflavored pre-workout, C4’s Fruit Punch packed a powerful punch of flavor. Slight sweetener aftertaste, but hardly noticeable. Great flavor overall.
The label’s suggested use is to take one serving (one scoop) 20-30 minutes before your workout. There’s a very slight tingling sensation likely due to the beta-alanine found in the proprietary performance blend, but no jitters. With that said, I didn’t notice a particular increase in focus or intensity when working out.
This product is for anyone who wants to fuel their workouts with a good-tasting drink. At $20 for 30 servings, depending on your workout schedule, that could last between 1-2 months, which is extremely affordable. One potential negative mark for me is that it doesn’t indicate anywhere that the product is gluten-free. While it doesn’t say that there’s gluten used, without the GF certification, it makes me believe there’s some gluten contamination or use in the “natural flavors.”

If you’re looking for an inexpensive, good-tasting pre-workout drink to kick off your workouts, C4 Sport® is a good and popular choice. You can find it on Amazon for roughly $20 and in a number of different flavors. Personally, it’s not my favorite due to individual preference for cleaner products, but in a pinch, this at least motivated me to get out of bed before 6 AM for a tasty morning treat.
