Wow. Just turned 17 and he commands the stage like a seasoned pro. @thechristiangraves is already so good at everything he does, but he may have found what he's best at. He works just as hard as anyone and encourages everyone. And he can sing and dance. He's the real deal @disneystudios. He's a triple threat like @thehughjackman. And this dad couldn't be prouder.

Wow. Just turned 17 and...

Happiness... It sure goes a...

This young man is now 17 years old. On one hand, I can't believe it's been that long. On the other hand, to hear him speak, see his productions, read his book (yes, he's 50 pages into an epic story right now), or watch him counsel his brother, his friends, or even his dad would make you question his youth.

He and his brother have become men before my eyes. It's a spectacular thing, getting to this point. I guess you could say that all parents experience this same feeling of pride and disbelief at the passing of time. Somehow it feels special to me today, just because of who they are.

This young man is now...

My oldest son @everenmaxwell has been working his way through college at @ryanbroscoffee and as proud as I am of how responsible he is, I'm also so sad that I see him less. So I find ways to say hello and show him how important he is to me. .
Today, his brother and I surprised him (for the second time this weekend) at work.

I've known for a long time how hard it's going to be to let them go and begin lives of their own...ever since their mom died and I devoted every moment to them and supporting their dreams to make sure they made it... I wonder if all dads feel like that.

Fatherhood is an incredible privilege, and it's my honor to call these two my boys.
